We’re taking an up close and personal look at two big issues and concerns related to your diabetes health with musical inspiration from Alicia Keys.

Alicia Keys’ make-up free movement served as a self-empowerment tool for singer songwriter. Alicia Keys says, ”I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing.”

Alicia’s inspiring us to take an unfiltered look at food justice, food waste and food safety as well as some of the food trends and new thinking in innovative solutions to solving the biggest food and agriculture concerns with President and Founder of Food Tank Danielle Nierenberg. Food Tank, a nonprofit organization focused on building a global community for safe, healthy, nourished eaters.

We’re also going with speak to Mary Ann Hodorowicz RD, MBA, CDE about President Elect Donald Trump’s potential reforms and provisions to the Affordable Care Act – Obamacare. The Trump Administration hopes to broaden healthcare access, make healthcare more affordable and improve the quality of the care available by adhering to free market principles.
