EXPO is a FREE event and everyone is invited to attend. It’s your opportunity to meet and talk with medical experts in a friendly environment. Take advantage of free health screenings, enjoy healthy cooking demonstrations with samples for attendees, Action for Healthy Kids will host fun games and activities in the Kids Zone, meet a registered dietitian and support group in the Living with Type 1 area, product and service exhibitors, as well as leading experts talking about diabetes management, research and prevention. It’s a day full of wellness activities in various anchor areas throughout the EXPO. We are working on some surprises for the EXPO including a celebrity appearance. Save the date, March 11, 2017 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center to get the latest information on preventing and managing diabetes and its deadly complications to help keep you and your family healthy.
